Description; To supply an independent unit, made in sections. The machine will comprise a sheet feeder from where the sheets will pass into a side-lay to register the sheets.

The tickets will then pass through a perforating section and then into a gluing section and then pass into a collection area where they will drop on to a batch stacker where they are collated into predetermined books.

The books can then be unloaded without stopping the machine.

The machine will include its own drive system with independent speed adjustment.

Vacuum pumps will be mounted within the unit and all wiring and switch gear will meet international standards. Sections will be;

Sheet feeder / Biased tape side-lay system / Automatic re-settable counter / pressurised glue system / Booklet-collecting area and Pile removal.

Responses to the tender should include;

Costs for supply, installation, and commissioning.

Proposals must also include the specification of the plant to be installed.

Suppliers are invited to provide the most cost effective and energy efficient solution. Examples of similar installations undertaken in the past three years to demonstrate capability to design, install and commission this project.

Site visits if required can be arranged with the project manager detailed below.

Selection criteria;

The contract will be awarded to the most cost-effective tender that meets the requirements of the company and can be delivered within the planned timescales.

Payment terms;

Payment will be made in 3 tranches and agreed as part of the contract discussions. Anticipated payment terms to be included in the prospective supplier’s quotation.

Closing date;

Completed tenders to be received no later than 12:00 noon on the 12 December 2023. The project installation will need to be completed within 3 months.
